2.2 Options for a monitoring workflow

In this video, I will go through the different options available when it comes to setting up a monitoring workflow, using a C9 or CX-series OLED and DaVinci Resolve.

Summary

CX-series OLEDs can set HDR-metadata internally to activate HDR-mode and the Rec.2020 color space.

C9-series OLEDs relies on HDR-metadata to be sent over HDMI to activate these modes.

HDR-metadata can be sent from DaVinci Resolve in combination with a compatible IO-device.

HDR-metadata can also be injected into an HDMI-feed with for example the AJA Hi-5 4K+ converter.
