In this video, I will show you how to set up a color-managed workflow in DaVinci Resolve, to start working in HDR. I also talk about why you should use separate color space and gamma.

Summary

A color managed workflow allows C9-users to activate HDR-mode and Rec.2020 on their OLED.

It is possible to work in either scene referred (camera log) or display referred (output EOTF and color space).

Set color space and gamma separately to be sure that your output is in the correct color space.

I recommend Rec.2020 (and not P3-D65) as the output color space when grading on LG OLEDs.
